KAIRO, a collection of bold and colourful jewellery, based on West African textiles, set in metal.
This exclusive collection of jewellery is a true color explosion, expressive and fun!
Each piece is centered around the prints of West African textiles, recovered from a tailor in Gambia, his leftovers now feature in these works of art. By wearing a KAIRO jewel you are not only making a beauty statement, but also, for each piece sold a percentage is donated to a Human Rights cause in The Gambia.
Every ArteSana i Tribu purchase is delivered in appropriate packaging and giftwrap. Whether you are buying for yourself or for a loved one isn´t it a great feeling to receive a present in the mail?

The jewellery sold by ArteSana i Tribu can be made of various materials. Please use common sense in caring for your jewellery pieces.
The safest way to clean a piece of jewellery is with soap (washing up liquid) and water and an old tooth brush.
Caring for silver jewellery:
Silver tarnishes because of the oxidation process through contact with oxygen (this is totally normal and does not say anything about the quality of the silver). To prevent your pieces containing silver from turning dark it helps to keep them in airtight zipper bags when you are not using them.
If the jewel does not contain any stones or other fragile materials you may add a drop of ammonia to your washing solution. Using an old electric toothbrush helps to clean in difficult to reach places. After washing dry thoroughly with a soft cloth and store in an airtight bag.
Please do not ever put a piece of jewellery that contains stones, pearls or other materials in a so called silver clean bath. This may damage the stones severely.

ArteSana I Tribu follows EU guidelines on the returns of purchased goods. These state that for contracts concluded as of 13 June 2014, you have the right to withdraw from your online purchase as well as from purchases made elsewhere than in shops (e.g. from a salesman on your doorstep; by phone or mail order) within 14 days.
This “cooling off” period expires 14 days after the day you received your goods. However, if this period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended till the next working day.
You can choose to withdraw from your order for any reason within this timeframe - even if you simply changed your mind.
Certain products are EXCLUDED from the right of withdrawal:
The 14-day “cooling off” period does not apply, among others, to products made especially for you (e.g. jewellery made to fit, ordered on commission (e.g. with a specific stone or colour), or engraved for you).
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must unequivocally inform the trader of your decision to withdraw from the purchase. You can do this, for example, by adding a written statement to the goods that you are returning by post, or by sending a fax or e-mail. It is not enough to just send the goods back.
